Qualifiers complicate a simple statement or option by adding a qualification.
The false tip-offs include such words as: All, Always, No, None, Every, Never, Invariably, Any, Absolutely and Not.
The true qualifiers are: Usually, On the average, Some, Many and Often.
Others you should watch for: Is, Is not, Little, More, Less, Good, Bad, Great, Sometimes and Except.
Don’t read too much into a question and don’t add to the question. Pay attention to what they are asking. Keep it simple and answer only what they are asking during exams.
